Job description

Bancassurance Sales Head is responsible for driving sustainable business growth through the bancassurance channel by developing sales strategies, leading high-performing sales teams, strengthening strategic partnerships with banking partners, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives while maintaining compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance, banking, wealth management, or financial services.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-level sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, investment solutions, and bancassurance business models.
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering sales growth and business results.
  • Professional insurance certifications are an advantage where applicable.
  • Candidates with Mandarin / Hokkien language capabilities are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall bancassurance sales strategy to achieve business targets and drive profitable growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional and area sales teams to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner banks, including senior management and branch leadership.
  • Drive sales performance through effective pipeline management, business reviews, and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management.
