As a Costing & Insights Engineer, you will analyze engineering solutions to identify cost efficiencies and best practices from global vehicle products. You will collaborate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers during new product development, leveraging a technical insights database and communicating with global experts. Key responsibilities include completing analysis reports, researching cost and technical parameters, executing product cost calculations, and optimizing costs. The role requires timely problem-solving to ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities and duties
1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements
2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters
3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost
4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal delivery
KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)
1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standards
1.More than 2 years experience/knowledge of Cluster/Infotainment/Displays & Technologies like PCB, PCBA, Active /Passive Electronics components, Casting, machining, Stamping, Injection molding, Assembly in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;
2.Experience on BOM cost calculation, DtC/VAVE from supply chain, material and manufacturing process;
3.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus;
4.Bachelor or above degree in electronics or related area;
5.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
6.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit;
