Egis is seeking a Principal Flooding & Stormwater Engineer to lead their Stormwater and Flooding team. This role involves technical leadership, project management, business development, and strategy development for complex water management projects. You will oversee hydrological and hydraulic modeling, conduct risk assessments, and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in flooding and stormwater engineering, a tertiary engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills, with CPENG and/or RPEQ being highly desired. This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD, Australia.

As a Principal Flooding & Stormwater Engineer, your impact will be within the Stormwater and Flooding team. The team is a specialist group focusing on delivering solutions in the areas of Water Sensitive Urban Design (constructed waterbodies, bioretention, proprietary water quality devices etc.), hydrological investigations, 1D hydraulic modelling and 2D regional flood modelling. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 10+ years’ professional experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities and exceptional technical expertise in flooding and stormwater engineering within a consultancy environment.
