The Finance Director, HKM, at Pernod Ricard Asia Duty Free Ltd will lead the local finance team to partner with Sales and Marketing, driving growth and margin resilience. Responsibilities include developing long-term gross margin roadmaps, optimizing A&P efficiency, evaluating promotional ROI, and supporting new business models. The role also involves leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and managing financial operations with a focus on automation and process improvement. A strong candidate will have at least 10-12 years of finance experience, including 4-5 years in management, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods, and possess excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Fluency in English is required.
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics
1.Finance Business Partnering – Growth, Margin & Competitiveness
•Lead the local finance team to become a value-creating partner for Sales and Marketing, directly contributing to topline growth and margin resilience.
•Topline & Margin Strategy: Support topline growth for HK market while maintaining Macau’s competitiveness. Develop a long-term gross margin roadmap amid continuous transfer price (TP) increases – balancing brand profitability and market share.
•A&P Efficiency & Classification: Partner with marketing to plan, control, and optimize A&P expenses, to ensure correct classification of sales reductions, Trade A&P, and Consumer A&P, improving transparency and ROI.
•Promotional & Activation ROI: Lead promotional evaluation projects with measurable KPIs, to ensure timely renewals and reduce commercial risks.
•New Business Models & Sustainability Finance: Act as finance lead for innovation projects to support new business model and sustainable financial increase.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis – Strategic Decisions
•Lead FP&A to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring short- and long-term financial goals are met with strong internal controls.
•Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead rolling forecast, annual budgeting (by channel, geography, portfolio). Consolidate topline and A&P forecasts, managing gaps between bottom-up and top-down.
•Transfer Price & BMS Reduction: Own the long-term TP roadmap to reduce BMS (Branded Marketing Spend / Business Management Spend) and protect GM%. Work with regional tax/FP&A teams to simulate TP scenarios.
•Stabilize Macau Performance: Balance Macau’s topline target with disciplined Martell pricing – avoiding over-discounting while maintaining competitive position.
3. Finance Operations & Control – Process Efficiency, Cash Flow & Compliance
•Oversee end-to-end finance operations with a focus on automation, working capital, and lean controls.
•Contract Review & PAF Improvement: Lead review/validation of commercial contracts. Drive PAF process improvement – reducing cycle time, ensuring timely renewals, and embedding pre-approval workflows.
•Order-to-Cash & Cash Flow Management: Oversee O2C cycle – credit control, billing accuracy, collections. Drive continuous improvement in overdue receivables through proactive ageing management and customer payment behavior analytics.
•Internal Control Strengthening: Establish/enforce controls for trade and marketing expenses (PO backup, accrual methodologies).
•Digital Process Improvement: Continuously improve operational processes – e.g., trade expense transparency, contract management, and O2C automation – leveraging existing digital tools and proposing new solutions.

4. Finance Innovation & Project Management and team management
•Lead or co-lead strategic finance projects that drive efficiency, transparency, and future-ready capabilities.
•Develop a high-performing local finance team capable of business partnering, operational excellence, and project execution.
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
•Minimum 10-12 years of post-graduate finance experience, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role.
•Proven experience in a Finance Head or Senior Finance Manager role, ideally in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods.
•Solid experience in commercial finance business partnering, FP&A. Having a strategic role(pricing role) experience will be a plus.
