We are hiring a Supplier Rish Assessment Specialist- 12 months contract to ensure a robust supplier risk assessment framework.

The role is base in Billund and no relocated support provided.

The Supplier Risk Assessment Specialist supports the Procurement Transformation team in delivering operational efficiencies across Procurement systems and processes while ensuring a robust supplier risk management framework. Reporting to the Director, Procurement Transformation, the role is responsible for executing and enhancing the Supplier Risk Assessment process, helping safeguard the LEGO Group, its employees, operations, and brand reputation. Working closely with Procurement, Compliance, Finance, Sustainability, IT Security, and other business functions, the role drives risk visibility, governance, process optimization, and continuous improvement across the global supplier base. The Procurement organization is based across the LEGO hubs and sites; Billund, Singapore, Shanghai, Enfield, London, Shenzhen, and in other manufacturing locations: Czech Republic, Hungary, China and Mexico. This position will be based in Billund and will be a 12 month fixed term contract.

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute the end-to-end supplier risk assessment and monitoring process, identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial, operational, compliance, ESG, cyber security, and data privacy risks across the supplier base. E.g. Managing the supplier onboarding request, sending the assessment ; Sending the request to BSO, chasing approval; Sending the documentation and Managing the dashboard and manual update the status.
• Drive supplier risk mitigation initiatives, partnering with Procurement Category Managers, suppliers, and business stakeholders to address identified risks and implement corrective action plans
• Utilise supplier risk management systems and tools, ensuring accurate risk data, effective reporting, streamlined workflows, and adoption of best-practice risk assessment processes.
• Input into the continuous improvement of the supplier risk management frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and procurement policies.
• Support Procurement Transformation and digital enablement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and enhance supplier risk assessment activities through technology and data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Sustainability, IT Security, and Business Operations to assess supplier risks and deploy effective risk management solutions.

Do you have what it takes?

• A recent graduate in business, data science, supply chain, economics, or related field
• Interested in data, automation, and the future of digital procurement
• A problem-solver with a structured and detail-oriented mindset
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and eager to learn Power BI and other digital tools
• A collaborative team player with good communication skills
• Curious about how global businesses manage supplier relationships and contracts
