BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Data and AI Technology team in Toronto, ON, CAN. This role focuses on the engineering, operations, and evolution of Enterprise Data Management platforms, including Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Lineage solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring platform stability, security, and scalability, providing production support, and driving continuous improvement through monitoring and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with Data Management platforms, strong SQL, Python, and Spark skills, and experience with cloud environments like AWS or Azure. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Data and AI Technology (DAT) Capabilities support the Bank’s Digital First strategy by enabling value realization driven by data analytics, business intelligence, data management, and robotics delivered through frictionless access to services, tools, and platforms for DAT business user consumption.
Our team is responsible for the engineering, operations, and continuous evolution of Enterprise Data Management platforms, including Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Modeling, Metadata Management, and Analytics solutions - ensuring they are secure, scalable, reliable access to trusted data across the organization.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
