What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Auditor / Quality Analyst to join our team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role is responsible for leading and maintaining the organization's Internal Audit Program, ensuring compliance with applicable aviation quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, including AS9110 and related industry requirements.

The Lead Auditor / Quality Analyst will provide leadership and guidance to a team of internal auditors, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). This position requires strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills, along with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and foster a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence. In addition to audit responsibilities, the Lead Auditor / Quality Analyst will also manage corrective action processes, conduct quality investigations, analyze performance data, and support various quality assurance activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and execute the Internal Audit Program in accordance with applicable regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with Quality Management System requirements, policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
  • Lead and facilitate quality investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
  • Manage internal corrective action processes and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including FAA, NAA, customer, and industry requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, drive continuous improvement efforts, and enhance operational performance.
  • Lead quality-focused projects and improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Utilize CORE tools and quality methodologies to analyze statistical and operational data, identify trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare audit reports, present findings to leadership, and track closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture where Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement are integrated into daily operations.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Auditing, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, or a related role within a regulated industry, OR, an Associate’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR, in lieu of a post high school degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous experience as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor within an aviation, aerospace, or MRO environment.
  • Auditor certification or formal auditor training is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AS9110, AS9100, and Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience with FAA regulations and National Aviation Authority (NAA) requirements.
  • Experience leading audits, investigations, and corrective action programs.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
