The EHS Supervisor will lead Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at the GM facility, ensuring compliance with air, water, waste, workplace safety, and health standards. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to reduce risk and enhance EHS performance by working cross-functionally with various teams. The ideal candidate will provide technical and regulatory guidance and partner with site leadership to maintain compliance with all GM EHS standards and applicable regulations.
Job Description
Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
Your Role:

As an EHS professional at the facility, you will have the opportunity to lead programs that ensure compliance in air, water, waste, workplace safety, and health standards. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to reduce risk and enhance overall EHS performance.
This role involves working cross-functionally with diverse teams to design and execute best-in-class, sustainable solutions that improve compliance and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across the site. We are currently seeking an EHS Supervisor who is passionate about protecting people and the planet, and who wants to help position the facility as a leader in EHS compliance and sustainability.
You will be accountable for providing technical and regulatory guidance on workplace safety and environmental requirements, and partnering with site leadership to maintain compliance with all GM EHS standards and applicable regulations.
