Skeleton's Commercial department is looking for a driven and experienced

Head of Sales Operations (m/f/x)

We are looking for a Head of Sales Operations to build the operational backbone of our European commercial organization, enabling our teams to sell high-power energy storage solutions faster and more effectively across data centers, grid, and defense applications. Building on an established and active European sales operation, you will own the systems, data, and processes that keep the commercial engine running: turning sales and market data into insight, standardizing how we work, and removing the operational hurdles that slow deals down. This is a hands-on operational and organizational role in a fast-moving, high-growth environment - you will not carry a quota; you will make the people who do more successful.

Why this role:

  • A category-defining moment. Power is unanimously recognized as the key bottleneck to AI growth globally, and Skeleton's technology helps data centers cut energy consumption while increasing compute. You will sell into the fastest-growing infrastructure demand on the planet.
  • Real product, real traction. The world's largest supercapacitor factory in Germany and a one-gigawatt SuperBattery factory in Finland are up and running.
  • Ownership and impact. A lean, flat environment where you set the commercial direction, build the team, and see your decisions land in weeks, not quarters.

Your responsibility areas:

  • Commercial Operating Rhythm - Own the end-to-end commercial cadence - pipeline, forecasting, reporting, and weekly review structure across the European sales organization.
  • Data & Insight - Build the single source of truth for commercial data, turning sales and market data into insight leadership can act on.
  • Process & Efficiency - Identify and remove operational bottlenecks that slow deals down, standardize what works, and make the commercial function quicker and more predictable.
  • OKRs & Execution - Translate company strategy into commercial OKRs and drive the process-improvement initiatives that deliver against them.
  • Team Enablement - Keep the commercial team organized and aligned operationally and administratively, surfacing who needs to do what and when so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination - Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and leadership to keep the commercial function running smoothly and hand over cleanly to operations post-close.
  • Leadership Alignment - Work directly with the CEO and leadership team, implementing direction cleanly while representing the state of the commercial operation clearly and factually.
  • Proven track record in sales, commercial, or revenue operations, ideally in a company that has been through a significant scale-up phase
  • A genuinely data- and process-driven mindset: you understand how sales processes work deeply, even though you do not sell yourself.
  • A background in a hardware-oriented technology company is a strong plus; software backgrounds are equally welcome.
  • Genuinely hands-on and organized: you naturally track who owns what and keep things moving without being asked.
  • Experience working in a lean, fast-moving environment where direction changes frequently and structure is thin. Comfortable with ambiguity rather than large, established corporate structures.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of energy storage and power electronics, or the ability to get up to speed quickly.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Location flexible across Europe.
  • We offer flexible working hours, with the possibility of mobile working without core working hours and sufficient freedom for your own ideas.
  • A flat hierarchy culture - fostering our great working atmosphere.
  • Use the training budget to expand your knowledge and competencies.
  • A motivating opportunity for continuous growth at Skeleton.
  • An additional day off every year for your birthday.
  • Be active & participate in our internal sports challenges (SkelFitness).
  • We celebrate our successes with Team Events, Summer & New Year’s parties, and other initiatives!

We're not just about energy storage. We're about redefining energy for a net-zero future, and we'd love for you to be a part of our journey.
