Morgan Stanley is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join their Enterprise Computing Unix Operations Level 3 team. This role involves maintaining a global Unix environment, acting as a high-level escalation point, and handling on-call support. Responsibilities include developing automation tools, managing core infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, NTP), system firmware, and troubleshooting hardware. The position requires experience in large-scale production environments, Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat), clustering technologies, shell scripting (Perl/Python), and TCP/IP networking.
We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Linux System Administrator to work as a part of The Enterprise Computing Unix Operations Level 3 team which is responsible for maintaining a centrally managed global plant running on Solaris and Linux systems.
This team serves as the highest level of escalation for support. On call support and weekend work are also part of this role. The ideal candidate will need strong communication skills and be well organized.
