XDS Bicycles is seeking a Director of Sales to establish its X-LAB brand in the North American market. This ground-floor opportunity involves building a dealer network from scratch, directly engaging with independent bike shops and regional chains. The role requires a hands-on, consultative selling approach, with a clear path for advancement as operations expand. Key responsibilities include prospecting, closing deals, building relationships, and eventually recruiting and leading a sales team. The position is based in Santa Monica, CA, with extensive U.S. travel.

XDS is seeking a Director of Sales to join us on this ground-floor opportunity to establish X-LAB in the North American market. You'll be building our dealer network from zero to 100+ stores in our first year, working directly with independent bike shops and regional chains. This role requires a hands-on approach - you'll be the one knocking on doors, building relationships, and proving our value proposition store by store. This role features a clear path for advancement as North American operations expand.

Work Environment
This role requires regular Los Angeles office presence for team collaboration and product training, combined with extensive field travel. Remote work is not available for this position due to the hands-on nature of the role and need for close coordination with leadership. We expect this leader in-office at least 2 days a week: (onsite; ≥ 50 % travel across the U.S. and periodically to Asia HQ)
