BJAK is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build AI-native systems for their finance super app, focusing on practical application rather than pure research. The role involves developing AI-powered workflows, assistants, and automation systems across various financial services. Successful candidates will have a strong software engineering foundation, experience with LLM APIs and AI tools, and the ability to integrate AI into real-world product and operational workflows. Experience in fintech is a plus. The position requires candidates to be based in Hong Kong.

We are looking for applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for BJAK's finance super app.
This is not a research-only role. We need builders who can use AI to automate real workflows, improve products, reduce manual work and make financial services easier for users and teams.
This role is remote, but candidates must be based in Hong Kong. We are hiring specifically for this market, so applicants should already be based in Hong Kong.
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
