GENERAL SUMMARY:
Researches and corrects non-post for DDA, SAV, SDB, and LAS applications. Coordinated the processing of on us return items, is responsible for processing the charge-back notices. Reviews Stop Payment Reports for suspect Stop Pays. Print Interest checks, review deposits made remotely by our business customers, place Reg. CC holds and misc. exception reports. Performs other job-related duties such as domestic collections items, research requests, DDA Consumer Product Exceptions, CIP review, TIN Uncertified, External Transfer review, Port maintenance, returned Visa Debit Cards and IOLTA reporting. All duties are performed on a rotated basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone, via email and in person to both internal and external customers.
- Is responsible for locating and correcting DDA, SAV, SDB, LAS account numbers for all items that non-post and the reconcilement of the account.
- Is responsible for printing, reviewing for accuracy and mailing customer interest checks.
- Review of mobile deposits.
- Completes research requests for banks and helps resolve service issues for our customers. Requests received by 3:00 pm CST should be processed the same day.
- Process Domestic Collection Items.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Windows based programs preferred.
- Ability to provide good customer service and telephone courtesy.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure meeting critical deadlines and have multitasking abilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bank experience preferred.
- Balancing and Reconcilement experience preferred.
