Citibank is hiring a Markets Funding Structurer in Budapest, Hungary. The role involves reviewing and improving funding and liquidity arrangements across Markets product lines, working with stakeholders to implement transparent cost/benefit allocation processes. Responsibilities include implementing new business processes, liaising with support functions, driving technology and process enhancements, and fostering relationships. Requires 5+ years of relevant financial services experience, knowledge of financial markets, funding, liquidity, and transfer pricing, with quantitative and analytical skills. Exposure to securities and derivatives is a plus.
Team/Role Overview
The Funding and Liquidity desk is tasked with reviewing and improving the funding and liquidity arrangements across all the product lines in Markets. This desk is a clearing center for many funding items that are not allocated out to specific business lines, so this team works with stakeholders across Markets and Corporate Treasury to design and implement transparent processes to allocate any marginal costs/benefits to the appropriate business segments and incentivize optimum business practices. The position will report to a London based manager and work closely with colleagues based in Budapest, London and New York.
