Your New Role

The Senior Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating CNNIC’s Content Sales and Commercial Distribution business in South Korea.

The Content Sales team is responsible for licensing of CNN programming and news information services to third party licensees and news broadcasters, while the Commercial Distribution team is responsible for licensing the CNN channel to hotels and other commercial premises, either directly or via distribution partners.

This role functions as a key operational hub between local Korean clients and regional teams, ensuring smooth execution of sales operations, effective client communication, and efficient financial and administrative process.

Your Role Accountabilities

Sales Operations support:

  • Provide day to day operational and administrative support for CNNIC’s Korean clients, including broadcasters, content sales and licensing partners, and Commercial Distribution clients.
  • Manage hotel partnership-related tasks including regular communication with hotels partners and regularly updating the Point of Contact information.
  • Act as a first point of coordination for Commercial Distribution client requests, ensuring issues are properly tracked, communicated internally, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support general sales activities through market research, information gathering and internal coordination.

Content Sales and Licensing Support:

  • Handle daily administrative requests related to contents, schedule, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication and coordination with the regional offices, including the INS team in Atlanta, to address client needs promptly.
  • Support key groundwork initiatives aimed at expanding the broadcast business.

Financial & Administrative Coordination:

  • Support invoicing and payment-related processes, including tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments with clients.
  • Assisting in resolving WHT related issues by coordinating with hotel partners, clients and internal finance team.
  • Ensure that sales-related financial and administrative processes run smoothly and without delay.

Commercial Distribution Business Development:

  • Work closely with regional Director to support and facilitate the expansion of Commercial Distribution business.
  • Conduct market research and identify potential new Commercial Distribution opportunities.
  • Provide sales pitch to potential hotels.
  • Provide operational support for initiatives aimed at generating additional Commercial Distribution revenue.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • To ensure alignment with the internal teams by updating on ongoing activities, key issues and operational status.
  • Support cross functional projects related to content sales, distribution and partnerships through coordination and follow-ups.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination, client support, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with local clients and global teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with financial coordination, including invoicing and payments, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the broadcasting and content licensing industry is required.
