Hi there, we’re Article. 👋 Since 2013, we have been reinventing the furniture industry one sofa at a time, it’s not easy — it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, as a Category Manager, you’ll bring our brand to life through a product assortment that captures customers’ hearts. This role in particular will focus on managing our "Decor" category.
You may have worked previously as a Product Line Manager, Buyer, Merchant, or Merchandiser - preferably in a retail-focused environment.
Why We Need You:
In the Category Management Team, you’ll create results by bringing vision to your assigned product line/category. You’re motivated by numbers and understand how to translate these into revenue growth. Data is a big part of this role but so is a passion for Decor and furniture. You will be someone who takes the numbers and derives insights - sometimes this is done ad hoc! Make sure your Excel skills are on point.
The Category Manager is key to the success of our brand and is a critical leadership role within our brand function, and will support ownership of the P&L for their respective categories. Our "Decor" category is something we are building from the ground up; we need someone who is okay with a little chaos and undefined processes (compared to our other categories in the business).
Why Article?
As a Particle (people of Article), you will have a high level of autonomy to solve challenging, meaningful problems the best way you can. That means you’re trusted to explore solutions you believe will work best (you’re the expert, after all). You’ll do all this while growing your skills within a company redefining the furniture industry.
