The IP Trademark Assistant supports IP Department attorneys in docketing, file maintenance, and document preparation for U.S. and foreign trademark applications. Responsibilities include managing trademark deadlines, preparing filings, correspondence, and reports. Requires a minimum of two years of experience as a Trademark Assistant, strong understanding of trademark procedures, and proficiency in computer applications like Word, Excel, Outlook, InTapp, and iManage.
Summary: Under direct supervision of the IP Operations Manager and IP Department attorneys, and according to established policies and procedures, the Trademark Assistant performs a variety of docketing, file maintenance, document and correspondence preparation, and other related duties.
A qualified candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience working as an Trademark Assistant with both U.S. and foreign trademark applications, ability to prepare associated documents and correspondence, and have a strong understanding of trademark deadlines and procedures.
