Description
Role Purpose
We are currently hiring for a Document Controller to work from our Crowborough Office .
This role will be working on our SEMD projects.
The Role
40hrs a week Monday - Friday, we are open to considering Part-time applicants who can commit to a minimum of 25hrs a week. This role is Hybris with an expectation of 2/3 days a week from our Crowborough offiice.
- Ensure all documents and designs are stored in the correct locations across internal and external file-sharing platforms.
- Ensure all documents are listed on the document & drawing registers and all superseded documents are archived accordingly.
- Ensure all relevant documents are distributed to the relevant persons/parties as instructed.
- Prepare and circulate notifications on CEMAR as instructed by the Bridges PM.
- Assist Project Managers with project expenditure, and the creation and management of Project Documentation & governance

Essential
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction, engineering , Defence or water industry.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and software (e.g., SharePoint, CEMAR)
Desirable
- Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Certification in document control is a plus.
Due to the security requirements of this role, candidates must be a UK national and must have been a continuous resident in the United Kingdom for at least the last 5 years
