Leapsome is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build its outbound sales function from the ground up. This role involves researching and reaching out to HR and People leaders, qualifying leads, and handing off opportunities to Account Executives. The ideal candidate is curious, goal-oriented, and interested in technology and AI, with a passion for creating processes and making data-informed decisions. Sales experience is a plus but not a requirement. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, offering competitive salary, bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

We're building the SDR function at Leapsome from the ground up, and you'd be the third person on the team. That's a different job than joining an established sales org. There's no thick playbook waiting for you to follow. You'll help write it: what messaging works, which accounts to prioritize, what a good week actually looks like. If you want ownership over your process instead of a script to read from, this is built for you.
Our philosophy: we're AI forward. Automations handle the repetitive parts of prospecting, so you're not spending your day on manual busywork. Your job is to test what's actually working and add the human spark; the right tone, the right timing, the read on what a real person needs to hear.
Day to day, you'll research and reach out to HR and People leaders who could genuinely benefit from Leapsome, qualify them, and hand off strong opportunities to our AEs. We measure success in pipeline generated and meetings booked, and we're transparent about the career opportunities to grow your sales profession.
We want teammates who are curious about the people they're calling, competitive about hitting their number, and motivated to build something together rather than just follow the steps someone else laid out.

This role is based in New York City and the salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 USD + Bonus + Equity. View our full compensation framework here.
Leapsome aims to pay generously and fairly. If the listed range isn’t working for your situation, please tell us early in the process, we’d rather have that conversation than lose a great candidate over a number we may be able to address.
If your role or skillset isn’t covered in our compensation framework, it’s likely because we haven’t hired enough in that area yet. We’ll build a data-backed range before we make you an offer, and we’ll share our thinking with you as early as we can.
