Senior Pricing Manager Chocolate (HQ – Groot-Bijgaarden)

Your Mission 

Do you want to make a sustainable impact on the global chocolate business? As Senior Group Pricing Manager for our business unit "Chocolate", you will lead strategic pricing initiatives that drive revenue and profitability growth while creating mutual value for our customers. You will execute a value-based pricing approach, manage a team of two, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to shape the global pricing vision for one of Puratos’ most dynamic product categories.

Key Accountabilities 

Manage Innovation of the Product Category

• • Define and implement long-term global pricing strategies aligned with SBU Chocolate’s growth objectives and profitability targets.
  • Recommend structural changes to pricing architecture based on market insights and strategic opportunities.
  • Lead a value-driven pricing approach that reinforces brand positioning and supports innovation and premiumization strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable strategies to grow margins and market share.
  • Establish and enforce global pricing governance frameworks, acting as the key authority for exceptions and escalations.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, support negotiations, and oversee contract pricing and compliance.
  • Lead the digitalization of pricing processes, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness across all pricing activities.

 

Who are we looking for? 

• • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • You have minimum 7 years of experience in pricing or a related field within an international environment.
  • You have strong expertise in product marketing and value-based pricing approaches.
  • You have proven negotiation and relationship-building skills with a credible and persuasive personality.
  • You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • You are digital-oriented and tech-savvy; experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
  • You have excellent communication skills in English; Dutch, French, or other languages are an advantage.
  • You are passionate about food and sustainability, with willingness to travel occasionally.
