N-IX is looking for a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join our client's Cloud Operations team.

Lead DevOps level with Azure and AWS Experience: 7+ years of experience.
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, your primary strategic and leadership responsibilities will include:
- Define the strategic vision for cloud infrastructure, overseeing the architecture and governance of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including AKS, networking, and data services.
- Lead the cross-cloud environment strategy, ensuring seamless integration and architectural consistency between Azure and AWS platforms.
- Direct the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) roadmap, establishing Terraform standards and modules to be utilized by the broader engineering team.
- Architect and enforce global best practices for cloud security, networking, and governance, while driving cost-optimization initiatives at the enterprise level.
- Take full ownership of the tenant onboarding framework and automation strategy, mentoring junior engineers on scripted automation and cloud deployment processes.
- Govern containerization and orchestration standards (Docker/AKS), selecting and validating toolchains such as Helm, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions for the organization.
- Design and optimize the overarching CI/CD architecture, ensuring robust and scalable delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Spearhead the implementation of advanced deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary) and establish reliability metrics to mitigate operational risk.
- Provide technical leadership and code reviews for automation scripts (Python, PowerShell/Bash) to maintain high standards of system provisioning.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact within the distributed team, influencing development processes and guiding sprint planning.
- Act as an escalation point for critical incidents, providing expert guidance during on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
Skills:
- Strong Azure Knowledge, including hands-on experience with AKS, Private Link Services, Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Private Endpoints.
- Good experience of AWS, including knowledge of basic components/building blocks (EC2, VPC, IAM)
- Terraform knowledge, including working with modules (Both for Azure and AWS)
- GitOps knowledge, including GitHub actions and deployment using ArgoCD using Helm Charts
