Gore Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This role involves preparing reports for senior leadership, analyzing financial performance against plan, and monitoring KPIs. The analyst will also drive the annual operating plan and forecasting, develop financial models, perform profitability analysis, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements like IFRS 17 and OSFI. Key responsibilities include financial guidance, data reconciliation in Power BI, and supporting business case development.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (SFA) supports financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis across revenue, claims, expenses, and workforce costs, with a strong focus on insurance‑specific metrics, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk alignment. The SFA delivers clear, narrative‑driven financial analysis and reporting to support effective decision‑making across the business, with accountability for the full P&L.
Partnering closely with accounting and key stakeholders in the business, the role ensures alignment between management reporting and financial results, supports a smooth financial close, and translates complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the Executive Committee, while identifying key performance drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you need to Succeed:
Location: This is a hybrid work model that requires you to be in our Cambridge, ON office on Monday’s and Tuesday’s and working from home the remaining 3 workdays
The expected base salary range for this position is $59,500 - $110,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels. During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.
