We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Casual Truck Driver to join our Toowoomba team. About the Role

As a Casual Truck Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering steel building products safely and efficiently to customers across the region. You'll represent Metroll on the road, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

This role offers flexible casual hours and may suit someone looking for ongoing casual work with the opportunity for additional hours as business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver steel building products to customers across the region
• Load, secure, and unload products in accordance with company procedures and load restraint requirements
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and complete required documentation
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Provide professional and friendly customer service at delivery sites
• Maintain compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and company safety policies
• Work closely with the dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate daily deliveries
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of company vehicles

About You

• Current HR, HC, or MC driver's licence (essential)
• Previous experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably within the building products, steel, or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
