- Strategic Portfolio Manager supports the end-to-end management of Sun Life Indonesia’s strategic initiative portfolio, ensuring strong governance, execution discipline, and value delivery.
- Reporting to Head of Strategic Transformation, this role sits at the center of strategy and execution helping prioritize initiatives, track delivery, and support leadership in making informed decisions.

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)
- 8-10 years of experience in Transformation, Program or Portfolio roles
- Bachelor's or Mater's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA, PMP or Agile certification is a plus
- Proven experience in managing multiple cross-functional initiatives at the same time
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or large-scale transformation environments is preferred
- Background in top-tier consulting (Big 4 or strategy firms) is highly valued, ideally with exposure to transformation, operating model design, or portfolio management
- Strong experience in change management - able to drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and embedding new ways of working

- Strategic Portfolio Governance & Oversight
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of portfolio governance frameworks, processes, and tools
- Manage strategic portfolio ensuring alignment to business priorities and execution capacity
- Drive initiative prioritization sequencing, and dependency management
- Delivery Oversight & Execution Discipline
- Provide active oversight of key strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery against milestones, scope, and targets
- Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies and systemic risks across initiatives
- Challenge initiative owners on progress, risks, and recovery plans where required
- Support initiative owners in driving execution discipline
- Support and drive change management and adoption efforts across strategic initiatives, ensuring business readiness and sustained outcomes
- Portfolio Insights & Executive Reporting
- Translate portfolio data into clear, decision-oriented insights for CEO and SteerCo forums
- Develop and maintain weekly / monthly portfolio dashboards and reports
- Highlight trade-offs, risks, and decisions required from leadership
- Benefits Realization & Financial Governance
- Own benefits tracking and realization discipline across the portfolio
- Ensure initiatives are aligned to defined business cases and value outcomes
- Monitor budget vs actuals and drive accountability on value delivery
- Stakeholder Management & Executive Engagement
- Partner closely with business heads and functional leaders
- Facilitate portfolio governance forums and decision-making processes
- Influence stakeholders to maintain execution discipline and alignment
