Veterinary Client Support Representative (CSR)
Do you have a passion for animals and a talent for delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for a compassionate, organized Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this role, you'll help create an outstanding experience for every client and patient by providing friendly, efficient service while supporting our veterinarians and medical team. Whether you're greeting clients, coordinating appointments, or assisting with specialty referrals, you'll play an essential role in helping our hospital run smoothly.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients in person, over the phone, and via email
- Schedule appointments and coordinate specialty and referral cases
- Welcome clients, manage patient check-in and check-out, and process payments accurately
- Answer phones and obtain patient history and visit information
- Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with veterinarians and technicians
- Assist clients with prescription refills, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian
- Maintain accurate medical records and enter information into our practice management software
- Communicate professionally with clients, referring veterinarians, and our medical team
- Maintain a calm, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment
- Support an exceptional client experience through teamwork, organization, and attention to detail

- Have previous customer service experience (veterinary, medical, healthcare, or hospitality preferred)
- Have experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting (preferred)
- Are compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator
- Enjoy building relationships with clients while providing an exceptional client experience
- Can multitask, stay calm under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Are comfortable using computers and learning new software, including veterinary practice management systems such as ezyVet (preferred)
- Have knowledge of veterinary terminology or referral/specialty hospital experience (preferred)
- Love working with both people and animals and enjoy being part of a collaborative, team-oriented workplace
