BJAK is seeking an Applied AI Engineer for their AI Neobank app in Malaysia. This hybrid role focuses on building AI-native systems, not just research. You will develop AI agents, workflows, and tools using LLMs, RAG, and other AI techniques to automate real customer, product, and operations problems in a fintech context. The ideal candidate has hands-on engineering experience, strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript, and a proven ability to ship reliable AI systems that solve practical business challenges. This is a hands-on building role for passionate engineers who want to make financial services more accessible.

We are looking for applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for BJAK's AI Neobank app.
This is not a research-only role. We need builders who can use AI to automate real workflows, improve products, reduce manual work and make financial services easier for users and teams.
This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
