This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for future project opportunities related to marine infrastructure, coastal developments, ports, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, and other marine construction projects. Candidates with relevant experience in marine methods engineering and technical office roles, particularly with main contractors, will be contacted as opportunities arise in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
We are inviting experienced Technical Office Engineers – Methods to register their interest for future opportunities across major marine and coastal infrastructure projects in the Middle East and the UAE.
The projects are expected to include complex marine and coastal developments requiring experienced methods engineers with expertise in marine construction methodologies, temporary works, equipment deployment, and execution planning.
Your Contribution:• Develop detailed construction methodologies for major marine construction packages
• Prepare specialized method statements, construction sequences, and temporary works procedures for marine piling, capital and maintenance dredging, breakwaters, block walls, quay walls, jetty construction, and other coastal infrastructure works
• Review construction approaches to ensure practical, safe, and efficient project execution
• Develop marine logistics strategies and construction sequences for vessel operations and offshore activities
• Define vessel movements, barge positioning, marine crane utilization, equipment deployment, and material handling methodologies
• Support planning for hydrodynamic conditions, weather windows, and marine operational constraints
• Work closely with the Technical Office Manager, Marine Design Engineers, and construction teams to coordinate marine construction methodologies
• Support multidisciplinary coordination to ensure engineering solutions are aligned with field execution requirements
• Identify construction risks and recommend practical engineering solutions during the planning phase
• Coordinate with planning teams to ensure marine construction methodologies are aligned with project schedules developed in Primavera or MS Project
• Support the transition from engineering to construction by ensuring execution strategies are clearly defined and technically achievable
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in marine methods engineering or within a specialized marine technical office
• Between 60% and 70% of your professional experience gained within main contractor organizations
• Proven marine project delivery experience within the United Arab Emirates and/or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Experience developing construction methodologies for major marine construction packages, including marine piling, dredging, breakwaters, block walls, quay walls, jetty construction, and other coastal infrastructure works
• Strong knowledge of temporary works, marine logistics, vessel operations, equipment deployment, and construction sequencing
• Experience preparing marine method statements and execution procedures for complex marine projects
• Familiarity with Primavera and MS Project within construction planning environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical approach to marine construction methodology and execution planning
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
