The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) is seeking an Advisor, Global Government Affairs in Montreal. This role supports the Director, Global Government Affairs in advancing PSP's domestic government relations strategy. Responsibilities include monitoring parliamentary and provincial developments, coordinating responses to government requests, developing policy intelligence, and strengthening stakeholder engagement tracking. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience in government relations or public affairs, with strong knowledge of Canadian parliamentary processes.

The Strategic Communications and Global Government Affairs (SCGGA) team helps PSP Investments understand, anticipate and respond to public policy, stakeholder and government developments that may affect PSP's mandate, governance, investments and reputation. The team supports PSP's relationships with federal, provincial and international stakeholders and provides insight, advice and coordinated engagement across PSP's global investor footprint.
Within this team, the Global Government Affairs (Canada) function leads domestic government relations, parliamentary monitoring, policy intelligence and stakeholder engagement in Canada, while supporting PSP's statutory obligations and engagement with responsible ministers and public-sector stakeholders.
As an Advisor, Global Government Affairs (Canada), you will support the Director, Global Government Affairs (Canada), and the Senior Director, Global Government Affairs and Stakeholder Management, in advancing PSP's domestic government relations strategy. You will play a hands-on role in monitoring parliamentary and provincial developments, coordinating responses to formal government requests, developing policy intelligence products, and strengthening PSP's approach to stakeholder engagement tracking.
