As an Intern in the Assurance practice at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will have the chance to engage with a diverse range of clients, from emerging businesses to established global brands. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of client information, while leveraging the latest technology to focus on the most impactful areas of client service. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research, observing professional work environments and contributing to the team's success.

Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams in delivering financial statement audits for a diverse range of clients
- Participating in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to enhance audit quality
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies and compliance with regulations
- Engaging in data transformation and visualization to provide insights for audit processes
- Contributing to the documentation and review of financial transactions and disclosures
- Collaborating with team members to address client management and issue resolution
- Utilizing machine learning and AI platforms to improve audit efficiency and accuracy
- Maintaining awareness of technical accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Upholding ethical standards and business conduct in all professional interactions
- Embracing diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive team environment
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia)
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their final year of degree program.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
