Sub Chapter Lead SAP Consulting (Brussels, BE, 1000)

The Elia Group has long been committed to the energy transition and actively contributes to a sustainable energy future. To strengthen our SAP chapter, we are hiring a Sub-Chapter Lead – SAP Consulting.

As Sub-Chapter Lead, you lead and develop a team of SAP consultants across Belgium and Germany.  You ensure the right capabilities, tools, and ways of working are in place to support the product teams effectively. Your focus is on building expertise, enabling high-quality delivery, and ensuring the sub-chapter contributes to the overall objectives of the organization.

 

My responsibilities

• Alignment and implementation of the objectives of the “SAP Consulting” sub-chapter in line with the vision of the SAP Chapter
• Steering and monitoring of results, deliveries, and performance (speed, quality, costs)
• Functional and disciplinary leadership, including hiring, development, and performance evaluation of sub-chapter members
• Implementation of tools and frameworks for efficient S/4HANA development and documentation
• Ensuring compliant development through training and coaching
• Allocation of sub-chapter members to product teams based on skills and requirements
• Collaboration as a sparring partner with the Chapter Lead and stakeholders for demand and capacity management
• Ensuring team cohesion, including travel between Elia Group locations

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a comparable field or equivalent experience
• You have several years (+/- 5)- of experience with SAP technologies and team leadership
• Strong knowledge in a relevant SAP module (SAP FI, CO, HCM, PM, SD)
• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, cloud-native development, SAP CAP, SAP RAP
• Experience in coaching, people management, and building high-performing teams
• Clear and effective communication skills, capable of engaging with technical experts and stakeholders at both technical and conceptual levels.
• Strong presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas in an accessible manner.
• You are fluent in English, additional language skills in Dutch, German or French are a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in the energy and/or utilities sector is a nice-to-have, but not mandatory
