The Role
We are looking for a sharp, politically savvy Government Relations Intern to support our team. In our team you will be at the intersection of geo-politics, business and policy, helping the largest aerospace and defense company in the world navigate the changing landscape in the Indo-Pacific and build meaningful partnerships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Research & Briefing: Prepare high-level briefing materials, one-pagers, and research memos for key meetings and engagements
· Budget Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing defense budgets and other key budgets that impact the business.
· Stakeholder Mapping: Identify key influencers relevant to our goals.
· Event Support: Helping to plan and attend events as directed by the leadership.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
· Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in an accredited university.
· Communication Skills: Crisp, clear and persuasive writing that does not rely on jargon for length.
· Political Intuition: A strong interest in the geo-politics in the Indo-Pacific.
· Resourcefulness: Ability to work with minimal direction, keeping to deadlines provided.
