About the Team
Front Office Operations (FOO) is a global organization supporting the full investment lifecycle across asset classes and regions. The team partners directly with portfolio managers, product teams, and key stakeholders to deliver scalable, controlled, and efficient operational support to the asset management business. FOO plays a critical role in enabling portfolio implementation, maintaining platform stability, supporting product and client lifecycle activities, and driving operational excellence globally.
Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Head of Front Office Operations (FOO) – APAC to lead and coordinate all Front Office Operations activities across the region. This role provides end-to-end oversight of operational support to the asset management business, ensuring consistent, risk-aware, and scalable execution aligned with global strategy and standards.
Operating within a matrix structure, the Regional Head will drive regional execution, governance, and prioritization across multiple markets, while partnering closely with global functional leaders to ensure alignment and delivery. The role also serves as a key regional representative, engaging senior stakeholders across Investment, Product, Risk, Technology, and Operations.
You Will be Responsible For:
- Overseeing performance and results of Front Office Operations across APAC, including oversight of multiple related teams, regional delivery, and alignment to business objectives and operational priorities.
- Providing direction to regional managers and matrixed teams, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring execution of regional business plans in line with global strategy.
- Developing and executing regional operational plans, including portfolio implementation, platform management, and lifecycle activities, ensuring disciplined, scalable, and controlled delivery.
- Applying deep functional, process, and industry knowledge to oversee complex operational workflows, ensuring alignment with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and investment mandates.
- Driving business outcomes by identifying and resolving complex, multi-dimensional operational challenges, improving efficiency, scalability, and risk management across the region.
- Establishing governance frameworks, setting policies and priorities, and embedding strong control environments to enhance operational resilience and consistency.
- Influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across Investment, Product, Risk, Technology, and Operations, representing APAC in global forums and shaping strategic and operational decisions.
The Experience You Bring
- 10 years+ Senior leadership experience in Front Office Operations or investment operations within asset management
- Deep expertise across portfolio monitoring and implementation, platform management, and lifecycle operations preferably in a global asset management company
- Strong understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory requirements in APAC markets
- Proven ability to lead multi-location, matrixed organizations with consistent outcomes
- Experience engaging senior regional leadership across Front Office and partner functions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Execution-focused leadership style with emphasis on scalability, control, and clarity of ownership
