Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Prosthodontist to join our leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide advanced prosthodontic care, specializing in the restoration and replacement of teeth to improve oral function, aesthetics, and overall patient quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, plan, and provide comprehensive prosthodontic treatment for complex dental cases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans involving fixed, removable, and implant-supported prosthodontic solutions.
- Perform advanced restorative procedures including crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, implant restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
- Manage complex cases involving severe tooth wear, missing teeth, occlusal disorders, and extensive oral rehabilitation needs.
- Evaluate patients for implant-supported restorations and collaborate with oral surgeons and implant specialists when required.
- Perform comprehensive examinations, digital treatment planning, and case presentations to patients.
- Restore dental implants using advanced prosthodontic techniques.
- Manage aesthetic and functional rehabilitation cases while ensuring predictable long-term outcomes.
- Collaborate with restorative dentists, periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, and dental laboratory professionals.
- Provide expert guidance on treatment options, materials, techniques, and restorative workflows.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records using electronic dental record systems.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and clinical quality standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior dentists and contribute to clinical education and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Stay updated with advancements in digital dentistry, implant prosthodontics, and restorative technologies.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
- Completion of advanced postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
- Board Certification, Fellowship, Master’s degree, or equivalent specialist qualification in Prosthodontics.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience as a Prosthodontist.
- Extensive experience in complex prosthodontic treatment planning and full-mouth rehabilitation.
- Strong expertise in implant prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry, and restorative procedures.
- Experience with digital dentistry workflows, CAD/CAM technology, and advanced dental materials is preferred.
- Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and treatment planning abilities.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary dental teams.
- Ability to manage complex cases with professionalism and precision.
