The Neckdown Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery that forms the neck or shoulder of a can, according to customer specifications. Key duties include reading blueprints, operating and maintaining neck-down equipment, performing quality checks, and executing changeovers for aluminum containers. The role also involves communicating with colleagues, ensuring production meets specifications, and having the authority to stop or modify work processes if non-conformance or unsafe conditions arise. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:
The neck-down operator will set up and operate machinery that forms the neck or shoulder of the can determined by customer specifications. In addition to operating machinery, the neck-down operator will champion the packaging process of the aluminum cans for customers.
