Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Dutch-speaking customers across all communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat, providing expert guidance on energy products, tariffs, and services.
• Handle customer enquiries related to energy billing, account management, meter readings, and service contracts with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.
• Assist customers in understanding their energy consumption, advising on energy-saving solutions and sustainable product options in line with the company's green energy initiatives.
• Process service requests, report energy supply issues or outages, and coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
• Accurately record all customer interactions and case details within the company's CRM system, maintaining data integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
• Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell energy products and services that genuinely meet the customer's needs and lifestyle requirements.
• Support customers through the onboarding process when switching energy providers or upgrading existing energy plans, ensuring a seamless transition experience.
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the energy market, regulatory developments, and the client's product portfolio to deliver informed, trustworthy customer support.

• Native or fluent Dutch language proficiency (both spoken and written) is essential for this role — all customer interactions will be conducted in Dutch.
• A valid EU passport is mandatory for eligibility to this position.
• A good working knowledge of English is required for internal communication and training purposes.
• Previous experience in customer service, client support, or a related advisory role is highly desirable; experience within the energy sector or utilities industry is a significant advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment, with strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and a reliable internet connection.
