Position Summary:
The Project Manager 2 is responsible for managing and facilitating cross-functional development projects for Cadwell’s neurodiagnostic, neuromonitoring, sleep diagnostic, and associated supplies and accessories product portfolios. This role plays a critical function in leading and managing projects that drive Cadwell’s growth and success. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to create, release, and maintain Cadwell products. This position is located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.
Job Duties And Responsibilities:
- Owns the success of and leads R&D projects from initiation through product launch, ensuring timely and successful completion of multiple simultaneous projects.
- Coordinates tasks between different functional areas of the company to ensure efficient project execution. Ensures clear communication and alignment across teams to drive project success. Uses advanced knowledge of Cadwell process and cross department workflows to identify and implement opportunities to more effectively utilize resources and expedite project execution.
- Leads R&D team project meetings with a focus on driving efficient project execution. Fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and drive continuous improvement.
- Effectively drives team and leadership decisions to move projects forward and works to achieve company goals. Escalates to management as necessary.
- Ensures compliance with Cadwell’s Product Development Process and other applicable processes throughout the project lifecycle. Leads post-launch lessons learned meetings to analyze successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. Suggests improvements to Cadwell processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Creates and maintains project plans, project schedules, risk registers, project checklists, and project budgets with minimal input from leadership; reports project needs to leadership team to ensure project success, suggesting recommendations and solutions as needed.
- Preemptively identifies areas of concern, project risks, and potential roadblocks, and effectively communicates potential impacts to project timelines and budgets, suggests potential solutions, and works with the team to mitigate where possible.
- Coordinates product launch activities, including product launch meetings, project checklist completion, design transfer activities, and completion of the design history file.
- Collaborates as needed with other Cadwell team members to share insight into Cadwell process and project management best practices. Suggests changes to project management tools to optimize Cadwell process and better fit company needs.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of project management tools and common best practices.
- Thorough knowledge of project risk management techniques and tools; demonstrated experience with managing and mitigating project risks.
- Ability to lead and drive cross-functional project teams with a professional and solutions-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing timelines simultaneously.
- Ability to develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Cadwell processes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including understanding, explaining, presenting and documenting complex technical projects and concepts. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of design control processes and design transfer activities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as engineering, project management or equivalent work experience.
- Typically greater than four (4) years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience managing projects within a regulated environment, preferably in a medical or similarly regulated industry.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Salary Range
$120,000—$141,000 USD
