Coder is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for their Enterprise Experience team. This role involves developing and maintaining artifacts like hardened images, Terraform modules, and Helm charts to ensure smooth enterprise deployments of Coder. You will focus on making deployments reliable, operations straightforward, and upgrades trustworthy. The position requires 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, with hands-on expertise in Terraform, Helm, container images, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You will also mentor engineers and maintain a high standard for code quality and security.
As a Senior Platform Engineer on Coder’s Enterprise Experience team, you will mature the artifacts that help large enterprises deploy, harden, and upgrade Coder with confidence. You will work across hardened images, Terraform modules, Helm charts, and reference architectures that customers depend on every day.
You will be a founding member of the team, shaping how Coder runs in self-hosted enterprise environments. You will partner across engineering to make deployment reliable, operations straightforward, and upgrades easier to trust.

Our self-hosted AI Development Environment is the foundation for deploying agentic AI in the enterprise. Coder's isolated, policy-driven environments improve productivity, cut cloud costs, and reduce data risks. Developers transition to AI at their own pace using their own tools. Platform and security teams can govern, audit, and manage a great developer experience at scale.
We believe that the interview process should be transparent, consistent, and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to complete the interview process in two to four weeks, if schedules allow. Through your interviews, you will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders.
