Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
The Planning Associate is responsible for supporting the governance, tracking, and operational efficiency of VCA’s project portfolio. This role ensures data accuracy across systems (VPC, VIK, PO), enables visibility of risks and opportunities, and supports financial discipline (billability, costs, and travel). The associate acts as a key backbone of planning processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and timely information for decision-making.
- Produce and maintain weekly pipeline reports, consolidating key project updates
- Support leadership with visibility on pipeline health and performance evolution
- Identify inconsistencies and gaps in allocation or reporting
- Support corrective actions with project leads to improve resource efficiency
- Act as a control point to guarantee data consistency across financial and operational systems
- Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of planning routines
- Maintain documentation and best practices for planning processes
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 12 months of work experience or a Bachelor's degree to interpret data and identify inconsistencies or trends
- Attention to detail: ensures accuracy across systems and reports
- Organization & discipline: manages multiple processes simultaneously (reporting, travel, staffing)
- Stakeholder coordination: interacts with consultants, finance, and operations teams
- Data & tools proficiency: Power Point, Excel and internal systems (VPC, reporting tools)
- Communication: clear and structured updates, both written and verbal
- Fully Bi-lingual: (English/ Portuguese)
