By The Bay Health is seeking a Child Life Specialist for a per diem position in San Francisco County, with coverage extending to San Mateo & Alameda Counties. This role focuses on using play and psychological preparation to help patients and families cope with life-threatening illnesses. The specialist will plan, implement, and document child life treatments tailored to individual patient and family needs, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to reduce anxiety and depression and support the healing process.

We are seeking a Child Life Specialist will use play and psychological preparation as primary tools to facilitate coping and adjustment at times and under circumstances that might prove overwhelming in dealing with life threatening illness.

Per diem; approximately 8 hours per week
Location:
San Francisco County with additional coverage to San Mateo & Alameda Counties as needed
