Cooks Needed ASAP

National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 28 years of industry experience and we are now seeking reliable, hardworking Cooks to support our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018. 

As a Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation and production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipes
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are met
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
• Assist with inventory management and waste reduction efforts
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Days: Monday through Sunday
• (Two days off per week; schedule provided by supervisor)

Hourly Pay:

$18.55/hr. (BIWEEKLY PAY)

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Previous cooking experience required
• Must have and wear slip-resistant shoes
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Available to start immediately
