McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for WILD 401: Fisheries and Wildlife Management. This part-time, term position offers a contract amount of $11,824.00, prorated based on a .25 FTE. The role involves in-person teaching for a 3-credit course in Fall 2026, including a 4-day field trip. The lecturer will be responsible for grading final exams. A graduate degree, preferably a PhD, in Fisheries Management or a related field is required, along with university-level teaching experience in fish and wildlife ecology, conservation, and management. WILD 401 is a team-taught course. This Course Lecturer contract will be for a .25 position; full contract amount of $11,824.00 will be pro-rated accordingly.
Note that WILD 401 includes a 4-day field trip which will take place September 26-29.
The McGill exam sessions take place over two weeks after the end of classes, and Course Lecturers are expected to be available on the day of a scheduled final exam and are required to grade final exams as part of their contract.
