Description
As Marketing Manager within Sony Music Entertainment Vietnam, you will be the project lead on your assigned roster of domestic artists, responsible for building campaign plans in line with the artists vision and Sony Music. Within the role you will be working closely with the artists, guiding them on social media, marketing planning and executing marketing and paid advertising strategies for the project, as well as commissioning creative and the marketing tools needed.
You will report to the General Manager, Sony Music Vietnam and be joining a passionate group of like-minded and collaborative music fanatics.
What you'll do:
- Driving end-to-end marketing strategy across all projects. Own the full campaign lifecycle for assigned releases: positioning, audience definition, channel strategy, launch planning, and post-campaign analysis.
- Leading the team with clear direction, planning, and accountability. Set campaign standards (brief quality, approvals, asset readiness, measurement approach) and keep the team aligned through structured check-ins and progress tracking.
- Develop creative and audience-centric campaign concepts tailored to each artist’s identity, local culture, and fan behaviours.
- Elevating campaign quality and creative output to stay competitive. Monitor and interpret platform performance signals (content performance, audience response, and campaign outcomes) to optimize in-flight and future campaigns.
- Strengthening digital performance through data-driven execution
- Ensuring scalability as our release volume continues to grow
- Design audience growth plans that expand beyond core fans—balancing acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion objectives for each release cycle.
- Develop creative and audience centric marketing campaigns for your roster of artists.
- Create and build all local marketing tools, including artist imagery, press images, release artwork, advertising assets and videos
- Deliver on Artist DNAs, Marketing Plans, and artist updates for all assigned artists. These will outline core marketing objectives that drive streaming, sales, fan acquisition and revenue.
- Building an artist brand, core pillars and identity in line with the artist vision and Sony Music
- Forecast project-based marketing and sales budgets
- Be the day-to-day point person for artist team, Label partner or management on your roster of artists
- Collaborate with Digital Business lead to develop and deliver pitches to DSPs.
Who you are:
- Solid experience running multi-faceted and innovative marketing campaigns, with particular focus on content marketing, artist development and audience growth.
- Strong creative skills to craft compelling content and messaging that reflects the artist identity, and brand and engages their audience.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing digital environment. Being open to learning new technologies, industry trends, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Love and passion for music and supporting local talent.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content, and streaming landscape.
