Qualifications requises (TQRs) :
- Diplôme de maîtrise en travail social (MSW) ou l’équivalent.
- Au moins 4 ans d’expérience clinique démontrée.
- Connaissance approfondie des compétences et des pratiques auprès d’individus de populations diversifiées, à toutes les étapes de la vie.
- Capacité à faire état de son expérience pratique personnelle comme intervenant clinique.
Application pratique démontrée et/ou expérience d’enseignement dans les domaines suivants :
- Compétences en évaluation, intervention et appréciation auprès d’individus à différentes étapes de la rencontre en travail social ainsi qu’à différentes étapes du cycle de vie.
- Rôle central de la position sociale (âge, « race », classe sociale, genre, orientation sexuelle, capacité, etc.) et des rapports de pouvoir (âgisme, racisme, classisme, sexisme, homophobie et hétérosexisme, capacitisme, etc.) intégrés aux relations en travail social ainsi qu’aux activités d’évaluation et d’intervention.
- Compétences en évaluation psychosociale et capacité d’identifier les théories, cadres et principes de pratique fondée sur des données probantes utilisés dans l’évaluation.
- Effets des facteurs personnels, de la conscience de soi et de l’intersectionnalité sur l’évaluation et l’intervention.
- Connaissance approfondie des compétences de pratique, notamment : conscience de soi, valeurs personnelles et valeurs professionnelles; compétences en communication et en observation, empathie et écoute active; établissement de relations professionnelles, définition des limites, et recours aux compétences d’organisation, de coordination, de défense des droits/persuasion et de coopération; et identification et réflexion sur les dilemmes éthiques.
- Connaissances et compétences spécialisées pertinentes à la santé mentale et à la maladie mentale, y compris la familiarité avec le DSM-5, l’intervention de crise, l’évaluation du risque suicidaire, ainsi que la planification des risques et de la sécurité.

Demonstrated practical application of, and/or teaching experience in, the following areas:
- Skills in assessment, intervention and evaluation with individuals at different stages of the social work encounter as well as different stages of the life cycle;
- The centrality of social location (age, ‘race’, class, gender, sexual orientation, ability etc.) and power relations (ageism, racism, classism, sexism, homophobia and heterosexism, ableism etc.) embedded in social work relationships and in assessment and intervention activities;
- Skills in psychosocial assessment and the ability to identify the theories, frameworks and evidence-based practice principles utilized in the assessment;
- The effects of personal factors, self-awareness and intersectionality on assessment and intervention;
- Expert knowledge of practice skills, including: self-awareness, personal values, and professional values; communication and observation skills, empathy, and active listening; building professional relationships, setting boundaries, and drawing on the skills of organization, coordination, advocacy/ persuasion, and cooperation; and identifying and thinking through ethical dilemmas.
- Specialized knowledge & skills pertinent to mental health and illness, including familiarity with the DSM -5, crisis intervention, assessing suicidality, and risk and safety planning.
