[What you will be working on] 

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of digital products supporting the health product regulatory lifecycle, including product registration, licensing, compliance monitoring, post-market surveillance, and stakeholder engagement. The role drives product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement to enable efficient, data-driven, and user-centric regulatory services.

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital capabilities supporting the health product regulatory lifecycle.
• Ensure product investments align with organisational priorities, regulatory objectives, and digital transformation goals.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, AI, and digital technologies to improve regulatory effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage the product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through delivery, deployment, adoption, and optimisation.
• Prioritise features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on user needs, business value, risk, and strategic outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement through user feedback, analytics, and regulatory insights.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with regulatory, operations, policy, legal, and technology teams to develop solutions that support health product regulation.
• Engage industry stakeholders, healthcare partners, and government agencies to understand requirements and improve digital services.
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with diverse priorities and interests.

Product Delivery

• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising business analysts, designers, engineers, architects, vendors, and data specialists.
• Ensure timely delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.
• Manage product risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to achieve intended outcomes.

Performance & Value Realisation

• Define and monitor product success measures such as service adoption, processing efficiency, compliance outcomes, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Use data and insights to support decision-making and product prioritisation.
• Track and communicate product outcomes to senior management and governance bodies.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements, data governance policies, cybersecurity standards, and Whole-of-Government digital governance frameworks.
• Support procurement, vendor management, and contract governance activities where applicable.
• Manage risks related to product delivery, operations, security, and regulatory obligations.

[What we are looking for] 

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related disciplines.
• At least 6–10 years of experience in product management, digital transformation, technology delivery, healthcare informatics, regulatory systems, or related fields.
• Experience managing complex digital products or platforms involving multiple stakeholders and business domains.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery, product management practices, and digital service design.
