Your Profile – What Do You Bring as a Tax Specialist?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, accounting, audit, or a related finance function.
• Good knowledge of Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts ,Turkish tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with tax compliance, reporting processes, and related accounting principles.
• Experience in VAT refund and other tax incentive issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Your Tasks – What Can You Expect as a Tax Specialist?

• Support the preparation and submission of all tax declarations and filings in accordance with local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies.
• Monitor updates in tax legislation and support the implementation of necessary changes.
• Assist in VAT refund process, tax audits, inspections, and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Prepare tax reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform e-ledger submission processes
• Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors on tax-related matters.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and other tax compliance requirements, where applicable.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
