Desjardins Financial Security is seeking a Senior Group Insurance Pricing Advisor to develop and enhance pricing strategies for group insurance products. This role involves analyzing claims experience and market trends, setting renewal rates, pricing new contracts, and managing financial agreements to ensure profitability and business growth. The advisor will collaborate with various internal teams and stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert and coach. Key responsibilities include responding to client inquiries and ensuring pricing targets are met.
As a Senior Group Insurance Pricing Advisor for groups and businesses, you help develop, improve and monitor pricing strategies for products and services to support business growth and maximize profitability for Desjardins Group. You lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your specialty area. You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert.
