Key Responsibilities :
- Own critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to support the mass production of integrated circuits.
- Conduct detailed tests and measurements to optimize control over critical dimensions and defectivity across the process line.
- Recommend and implement modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and overall system performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, cost, and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with Technology Development sites and global counterparts to develop and transfer key equipment and process parameters for successful factory ramp-ups.
- Lead maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment functionality and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
- Develop and optimize excursion prevention systems to detect and resolve discrepant materials or equipment activities.
- Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification processes to ensure tools are installed safely, on schedule, and compliant with quality standards.
- Provide leadership and training to manufacturing teams to enhance technical competency and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in a specialized field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, manufacturing process control, and process improvement.
- Technical expertise in process characterization, equipment monitoring, and adjustment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge and experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, problem-solving methodologies, and manufacturing process control techniques.
- Proven ability to lead process optimization and improvement projects across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with group problem-solving and excursion management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical data clearly and effectively.
- Experience mentoring or leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
