Your Team:
The Hong Kong Technology Team is responsible for ensuring effective delivery and smooth operation of technology services that support local business needs. The team acts as the key connection point between local business stakeholders, regional leadership and global functional teams, helping to align priorities, communicate requirements, and supports local governance, regulatory, security, and business continuity responsibilities. In addition, the team contributes local market perspectives, escalates key technology issues, and helps ensure technology practices are practical, relevant, and effective for the local business environment.
Your Role:
The primary role of this position is to ensure successful running of technology functions in the geographic region of responsibility.
You Will Be Responsible For:
· Developing strong and trusted relationships with key local business partners
· Ensuring active dialogs between technology and business stakeholders on strategic priorities, execution and expectations
· Leading the local technology team to drive tangible commercial outcomes for the local business
· Alignment of local business requirements with global technology standards and policies
· Advocating and embedding best-in-class technology solutions in AI, DLT and emerging technologies into solution delivery
· Working with global teams to safeguard cyber security and business continuity of the organization
· Seamless interactions with local regulatory engagements and external client requests, including but not limited to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
· Managing talent with diverse skillsets and background. Essential to cultivate agile delivery, problems solving and communication skills amongst team members.
The Experience You Bring:
· Technology function in a global financial services organization
· Minimum 10 years of leadership and management experience
· Working experience in change and transformation programmes
· Working knowledge of the investment management business
· Technology delivery best practices
· Knowledge of latest technology trends in AI, DLT, and Quantum Computing
· Bachelor’s degree or above in a science or technology related field
