Description
As a Logistics Technician, you'll be a valued member of the Logistics team, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This position supports warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring warehouse systems, analyzing operational data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and performance.
You'll contribute to the success of the LEGO Manufacturing Virginia facility by promoting safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring materials are delivered efficiently to support production.
Responsibilities
- Control Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system reports to ensure accurate movement of materials throughout warehouse operations.
- Verify warehouse processes and maintain inventory accuracy through regular system confirmations and inventory controls.
- Develop and maintain reports and databases using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to support operational decision-making.
- Analyze warehouse information using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), COMBI, and Power BI to identify trends and resolve operational issues.
- Partner with the Training team to document new processes and maintain current work instructions.
- Maintain warehouse equipment including scanners, scales, and other operational tools essential to daily operations.
- Support warehouse engineering projects by coordinating supplier activities and implementation efforts.
- Develop and maintain operational performance tracking tools and reporting dashboards.
- Assist leadership with operational decisions based on production demand and warehouse capacity.
- Support investigations involving warehouse systems, security, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and operational incidents.
- Participate in Lean Continuous Improvement (LCI), 5S, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Represent the Logistics team on local projects and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience using MRP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Power BI.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting warehouse engineering or operational improvement projects.
- Experience participating in cross-functional teams.
- Bilingual or second language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $27.00 - $27.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
