Overview:

In this role Associate Engineer will be supporting on Creating Airport models for flight simulator for Pilot training.

 Primary Responsibilities: 

The successful applicant will need to ensure all airport content developed meets internal and International regulatory standards. 
The successful applicant will need to understand Collins’ internal and external customers’ requirements and develop appropriate documentation and content. 
An ability to manage their time effectively be self-directed (where appropriate), prioritizing tasks against sometimes challenging timeframes. 


Experience or Skill Must/Desirable: 

2+ year experience in 3D Modelling and Texturing. 
Experience in the development of game or simulation content. 
Strong visualization skills and Knowledge of modelling requirements in integrated gaming or Synthetic environment Synthetic environment development. 
Knowledgeable in Photoshop to edit or create textures.  
Experience with Unreal or Unity Engine.  
Programming experience a plus (C++/C#/Python with OpenGL/DirectX). 
Strong communications and interpersonal skills. 
Self-motivated and passionate team player. 


Key Competencies: 

Advanced proficiency in Visualization is must.  
Advanced proficiency in Modeling Tools like Creator/Maya/3D StudioMax/Blender is must. 
Intermediate proficiency using Substance3D is a plus. 
Intermediate proficiency in Unreal or Unity Engine is a plus. 
Intermediate proficiency in Programming (C, C++/Python with OpenGL/DirectX) is a plus. 
Intermediate proficiency in photoshop Scripts/Actions is advantage. 


Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR 
In absence of a degree, 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
